The board of directors of Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX) has declared a quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share, unchanged from the previous quarter. The dividend is payable on December 15, 2009 to shareholders of record on December 7, 2009.

Praxair is the largest industrial gases company in North and South America, and one of the largest worldwide, with 2008 sales of $10.8 billion.
