BOSTON, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Podcast.com, a property of Treedia Labs, today announced a broad agreement to provide its podcast and videocast delivery services on the latest generation of Motorola handsets. The agreement represents a first step in Podcast.com's strategy for bringing its custom solutions for delivery of podcasts to the mass market through partnerships with multimedia device manufacturers.

The Podcast.com service is available for the Motorola MOTORIZR Z8, the first multimedia mobile phone to offer high definition video and high-fidelity

audio. These mobile devices allow consumers to easily download and enjoy the latest podcasts and videocasts along with other multimedia content.

Treedia Labs' white label and co-branded solutions allow mobile device manufacturers and carriers such as Motorola to offer a reliable and flexible solution for delivering multi-format rich media content to a wide range of consumers across multiple geographies and languages, enabling Motorola to deliver a suite of rich media and social networking applications.

The Motorola client software that accesses Podcast's services will ship with the MOTORIZR Z8 when the phone is rolled out in Europe this June. Beginning later this year, software to access the service will come pre- installed on select Motorola mobile phones as they are released worldwide.
