American pop star PINK hit out at both troubled singer BRITNEY SPEARS and U.S.
President GEORGE W. BUSH during her appearance at a British music festival on Sunday (19Aug07).
Pink - real name Alecia Moore - changed the lyrics of her song Don't Let Me Get Me from "...tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears / She's so pretty..." to "...tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears / She's so crazy...".
Later in her performance at the V Festival in Staffordshire, England, Pink played her track Dear Mr. President in front of images of Bush, explosions, soldiers and crying children.
Introducing the song, Pink told the crowd, "I want to get political for a second. Maybe after one year of playing this song, the world might be a better place."
