2013-09-19 18:12:37 - Singer/Songwriter Pharella releases her First single ‘Stay Right Here’ on 13 November 2013 with distribution from Universal Music Operations and Matchbox Recordings on the Rudo Music label.
The song is an uplifting energetic dance/pop track but with a twist. Pharella along with her co – writers, manager and label who have worked with big artists like Devlin, Pharrel, Mario and Sinitta, thought it would be a great idea to create a dance track with a hidden meaning and this is unravelled throughout the lyrics.
‘I Don’t Know where my voice came from’ Quotes Pharella. Both parents have a love for music but neither come from a musical background. When this talented young artist discovered her amazing ability, she was unstoppable and would sing continuously. Whilst she enjoys performing in any style, she has a particular love of pure ‘Pop/R&B’ from all decades.
Not only does her voice speak
volumes, she can also dance, Act and play piano. It was her own persistence that drove Pharella to seek out the best vocal coach and talent schools.
Top of her list was to attend Sylvia Young’s Saturday School. She achieved this in April 2008, where in her first week, her pure talent was spotted by her music teacher, which lead to an acapella performance in Sylvia Young’s Office.
In 2011 Pharella received the outstanding achievement award for music, at her secondary school and went on to secure her place at The Brit School For Performing Arts, as one of only 30 successful applicants on the Music course. Following the footsteps of Adele, Jessie J, Leona Lewis and Amy Winehouse to name a few. Outside school Pharella has spent time recording her own songs in local studios as well as, working with local Rappers, musicians and artists on new material.
She had entered and had success at various vocal auditions and competitions and was chosen from thousands of entry’s in the ‘Be a star’ national competition to have her home video performance made into a professional promo film, which was then shown at the O2, at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
Now 18, the young edgy solo artist would like her fans to join her on her journey as she releases her first single/video in 2013, this is chapter one so ‘Stay Right Here’ and follow Pharella.
