Pfizer, Inc. has seconded Mr. Rathbun to CRIX International, the organization dedicated to providing a common infrastructure and suite of services that will accelerate and streamline the interactions between members of the clinical research community.

In this role, Mr. Rathbun will oversee and administer all aspects of technology and architecture for CRIX International. His will also ensure services delivered to industry by CRIX providers adhere to the standards established by CRIX to ensure open scalable solutions. "George Rathbun brings to CRIX a demonstrated ability to

create, identify, and apply leading-edge technologies across the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries," said Jim Bland, Executive Director of CRIX International. "He makes a valuable addition to CRIX management and we are pleased to have him on board."

Mr. Rathbun has been involved in architecting business solutions both internal and external to Pfizer since he joined in 1990. During this time, he has applied his subject matter expertise in the areas of research systems architecture, electronic content management, identity and access management, and digital signature technologies to deliver innovative services for the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Rathbun also served as the CTO for the SAFE Biopharma Association from 2005-2006.
