People10, a leading agile software development company today announced the completion of SharePoint based content management system product for one of their clients in Nordic countries.
People10 makes its entry into the European market delivering a SharePoint based content management product pilot. The client (confidential) wanted to build an offshore delivery competency that would work with internal teams in distributed environment and will deliver projects independently working with some of their key accounts. The pilot was designed to explore the possibility of realizing cost savings through offshoring to India, with high quality and timely delivery.
People10 with strong capabilities in agile project management, agile software development and continuous delivery, executed the pilot in two months’ time frame. The total duration of the project was divided into two week scrums prioritizing the most important features in the pilot first. People10 was able to demonstrate product quality, and
cost savings in offshoring – that was critical to the projects' success and agile clearly prove to be the golden rule. The product was in a nascent beta stage and required multiple iterations to adapt to the usage patterns of their end customers. By using agile project management and continuous delivery, the customer knew what to expect & when, and also help built a good ecosystem of delivery.
