2013-02-04 17:58:41 - Online gift retailer Past Times launches ‘reverse auction’ in run up to Valentines. Followers can tweet the link of a selection of Valentines gifts, working collaboratively to bring down the price.

The Past Times buying team have handpicked some of their bestselling Valentines gifts for a new social media campaign, which places the power in the hands of consumers to determine the final price! The percentage discount will increase in proportion to the number of people interacting with the campaign through twitter.

The British online gift retailer is starting the auction at 08:00 on Tuesday 5th February 2013, and will run it through until midday on Thursday 7th February. Once the auction closes and the discount is set, consumers will be able to purchase products from the range at prices as wonderful as the products!

Each 100 tweets will lower the price of the product by 1%. If 2500 share the

Valentines product range on Twitter the price of the range will be reduced by a staggering 25%.
