Following the publication of Global Traveler magazine"s Tested Reader Survey Awards in the December 2008 issue, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announced that Park Hyatt hotels was selected as the Best International Hotel Chain in the World for the fifth consecutive year.
"This year, 2008, commemorated the five-year anniversary of Global Traveler"s Tested Reader Survey Awards. Park Hyatt has

been awarded the Best International Hotel Chain all five years of the survey"s existence. Not only do our readers continually choose Park Hyatt hotels, but so does the GT staff," commented Francis X. Gallagher, Global Traveler Publisher and CEO.
For the awards, Global Traveler magazine conducted a survey of its readers for the "best" in categories of business and luxury travel from January 1, 2008 to August 31, 2008. Generating more than 31,457 completed questionnaires, the survey was distributed in the magazine as an insert to subscribers, a direct mail questionnaire, and on the Global Traveler Web site.
