Dozens of special activities, talks, film screenings and art exhibitions are taking place throughout November, with something on offer for everyone.
According to the festival's organisers, it aims to "renew the
very language of exhibitions and stage performances" and is a "non-stop research lab into creation".
"Ultimately, it will offer a privileged opportunity to take a new look at today's creation and issues," the famous attraction notes.
Highlights include a performance by South African visual artist Stephen Cohen, who uses dance to explore his identity, and an evening dedicated to musicologist and radio personality Daniel Caux, as well as a solo piano recital by British composer Gavin Bryars.
Some of the works of art being exhibited as part of the festival include Carsten Holler's Mirror Carousel, Andrea Blum's In a Bed With a Cold-Blooded Animal and Olivier Bardin's Exhibition Continues.
The Pompidou, which is home to more than 60,000 works, is open every day except Tuesdays from 11am until 10pm.
Tickets can be purchased online and cost 12 euros (£10).
