Pacific Valley Bank Announces Changes to Board of Directors

SALINAS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/02/09 -- At Pacific Valley Bank's (OTCBB: PVBK) annual meeting of shareholders held May 28, 2009, the shareholders elected three new board members and five continuing members to serve on the Board for the next year. The new members are Mr. Anthony M. Cosentino, Mr. Guillermo Nieto, Sr. and Mr. Peter K. Shah. All three are long time residents of Monterey County and were original founders of the Bank. The continuing members are Mr. Rodney J. Braga, Mr. Andrew P. Ausonio, Mr. Michael D.
Cling, Mr. Lucio P. Cosentino and Mr. David B. Warner, CEO. The Board has elected Mr. Peter K. Shah as its chairman.



The Board would like to acknowledge and thank its outgoing directors Mr.
Steven D. Bassi, Mr. Louis H. Huntington, Jr., Mr. Jon R. Moore, Mr.
Guillermo Nieto, Jr. and Mr. Ben A. Tinkey for their dedication and years of service to Pacific Valley Bank. Messieurs Bassi, Huntington, Moore and Nieto have served since the founding of the Bank. Mr. Tinkey is continuing as the Bank's President.
