Outotec to deliver gas cleaning plant for LKAB in Sweden

Outotec has agreed with Luossavaara-Kiirunavaara AB (LKAB) on the design and
turnkey delivery of a gas cleaning plant to LKAB's iron ore pellet plant in
Malmberget, Sweden. The order value is approximately EUR 38 million and it has
been booked in Outotec's order intake in the fourth quarter of 2012.

LKAB is a leading producer of processed iron ore products for steelmaking and a
supplier of mineral products for other industrial sectors. The new gas cleaning
plant delivered by Outotec will further clean the off-gases at the existing MK3
iron ore pelletizing plant from sulfur dioxide, fluorides, chlorides and dust to
meet the European Union's new higher environmental legislation requirement   that
will be in place as of 2016.

Outotec's turnkey delivery includes basic and detail engineering of a gas
cleaning plant, supply of ducts, absorber, bag filter and waste gas fan,
construction and installation as well as operator training and commissioning
services. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in 2014.
