2014-02-23 06:38:38 - USD 5 million investment company set to leverage its line of organic products following successful launch at BIOFACH in Germany
Organu, a UK-based developer of organic baby food and organic cosmetic products, is set to throw the spotlight on its recently launched line of high quality organic baby food at this year’s edition of Gulfood, the world’s biggest annual food service, hospitality and retail event, which will be held from February 23 to February 27, 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The USD 5 million investment company’s participation is part of the move to increase more awareness for their products and to find more distributors and partners in the global market. Organu’s presence at Gulfood follows after their successful participation at BIOFACH 2014, the world’s leading trade fair for organic food, in Nuremberg, Germany. Organu’s stand no. ZP5
will be located in Zabeel Hall, DWTC.
Organu started out as a family run business built and made stronger with the experience of raising children—providing full care and attention to their well-being and addressing their needs. In fact, the company’s consultancy board is composed of a team of highly experienced mothers. The company is aimed at creating healthy, nutritious and organic food for babies that is not only delicious but also aids their growth. All of its products come from trusted farmers and suppliers, with ingredients that the company, and even other families, can trust. Organu’s current line of organic baby products includes baby fruit drinks, baby food, biscuits, candy and cereal. The company also produces organic cosmetic products like baby lotion, baby soap, baby wash, body wash, conditioner, hand wash and shampoo.
“Starting your baby’s diet of solid foods is an important moment for both the parent and the child—marking the baby’s first intake of food other than regular milk formula. Presented as a healthier option, organic baby food products represent a key milestone to your baby’s growth and development. Participating at Gulfood 2014 will allow us the opportunity to present our diverse line of organic baby products—from baby food to fruit juices both mothers and babies will find delicious and nutritious. From a business perspective, we are looking forward to meeting more potential partners and distributors who can help expand our market reach and distribution, particularly in the Middle East region,” said Cesar Alonso, Sales Director, Organu.
Gulfood is the world’s biggest annual foodservice, hospitality and retail event. This year's edition of the show is expected to showcase 20,000 brands from over 4,500 exhibitors. Highlights of the exhibition will include the Annual Gulfood Awards, the Emirates Salon Culinaire, Barista Bonanza and Coffee Council and an Export Advice Clinic.
