2010-04-09 23:21:08 - Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the appointment of Orange County Private Investigator William Gailey to the Sex Offender Management Board:

William Gailey, 62, of Huntington Beach, has served on the California State Bar Board of Governors since 2007 and since 1991 has served as chairman of Gailey Associates, Inc. Previously, he worked as a detective for the Los Angeles Police Department from 1968 to 1991. Gailey is a retired veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne Unit, where he served as

a sergeant E-5 paratrooper from 1965 to 1968. He is a licensed private investigator, a member of the California Association of Licensed Investigators and the California Homicide Investigators Association. Gailey previously served on the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services Disciplinary Review Committee, where he was appointed by Governor Gray Davis in 2002. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no salary.
