RALEIGH, N.C. – Operation: Coming Home ( operationcominghome.com), a joint volunteer project by the Triangle Veterans Association, Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County (HBA), and Royal Oaks Building Group, among others, has announced the release of a video featuring the story of the Operation: Coming Home III Hero Home, presented to U.S. Marine Sgt. Carlos Evans and family in a key ceremony in Cameron, N.C. in December 2011. The video covers the progression of the third Hero Home, from a September ground-breaking to the ceremony where Sgt. Evans, his wife, Rosemarie, and their daughters, Nairoby and Genesis, were welcomed to their new home by First Gentleman Bob Eaves, Operation: Coming Home III volunteers, local dignitaries, the Northwood Temple Academy Band,

the 82nd Airborne Division Band and All-American Chorus, the Rolling Thunder motorcycle guard and others. To view the video, visit bit.ly/wuLQ2W.

Sgt. Evans’ personal journey is featured on the video as well – he was deployed to combat areas in the Middle East four times, and on his fourth trip was severely wounded by an improvised explosive device. As a result, Sgt. Evans lost both legs below the knee and his right hand. The Operation: Coming Home III Hero Home is specially designed for easy accessibility and use of all rooms.
