cameras in the courtroom during the trial; other evidentiary issues will be argued as well. The Plaintiff will respect the Judge's decision, but does not object to having the trial televised. Sabrina Brierton Johnson vs. Johnson & Johnson, et. al., Case Number TC 018540.

Eleven-year old Topanga, CA. resident Sabrina Brierton Johnson's case is the first to be tried against Johnson & Johnson claiming that an allergic reaction (Stevens-Johnson Syndrome) to taking Children's Motrin in 2003 caused her serious injuries, including blindness. McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals, a division of McNeil-PPC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson), is a co-defendant in the case.

The trial began June 5, 2008 and is expected to last six-weeks; jury selection was completed on Friday, June 13, 2008. The case is being heard before the Hon. Cesar C. Sarmiento, Los Angeles Superior Court/West District, Malibu Courthouse, Department W, 23525 Civic Center Way, Malibu, CA. 90265.

WHEN: MONDAY, JUNE 16, 2008 AT 9:00 AM. The Court will hear arguments relative to Defendants' objection to TV cameras in the courtroom.

WHEN: TUESDAY, JUNE 17, 2008 AT 8:30 AM. Opening statements will be given by both parties.
