Online Training: Ground Disturbance

2011-01-25 11:40:18 - BIS Training and Development (BIS) in partnership with Astec Safety Inc. is developing an online version of “Ground Disturbance”. Using the BIS Online Learning Management System (BOLMS), Astec Safety will offer this course on their website

and also make it available to the Online Safety Training Network powered by BIS. The Online Safety Training Network is a consortium of safety training companies that share their best online courses with all the other safety training companies essentially building an online library of courses available for all companies on the network to access and sell to their clients.
Ground Disturbance course is designed for planners, managers, supervisors and employees who are or will be required to develop, plan and implement any kind of ground disturbance. Topics presented will include: identifying and defining ground disturbance; describing the hazards of ground disturbance; what permits and agreements will be required; how to locate and identify underground facilities; regulations associated with ground disturbance;

reclamation overview; responsibilities for owners and ground disturber; and safety requirements.
