The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world’s largest user knowledgebase for Oracle ® Applications users, announced the organization’s membership has selected its 2010 board of directors.
The new board members are John Stouffer, an individual associate member; Floyd M. Teter, system engineer, Technology and Standards Office for Institutional Business Systems at the California Institute of Technology’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory; and Margaret Wright, technology manager for the Oracle Center of Excellence at Atlanta’s Southern Company.
Stouffer is an Oracle ACE with more than 20 years of experience with Oracle database administration and more than 16 years of experience supporting Oracle’s E-Business Suite Applications environments. He chairs the OAUG Upgrade Special Interest Group (SIG), was the founding chair of the OAUG Fusion Council and actively
participates in other OAUG Geographic User Group (Geo) and SIG activities. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at major OAUG and Oracle events and has published three books on Release 11 and Release 12.
Teter is an Oracle ACE Director with more than 15 years of experience in solution architecture and project management, with functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Projects, Financials and Discrete Manufacturing. He is the chair of the OAUG Fusion Council, a member of the Oracle Usability Advisory Board, involved in several OAUG SIGs and a member of the International Oracle Users Group Community (IOUC) Product Development Committee. He has been published numerous times and is a frequent speaker at major OAUG and Oracle events.
Wright has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology field, with a record of accomplishments in forging strategy and developing clear visions, managing software development projects and teams, and managing strategic alliances with software vendors. She served on the OAUG board of directors in 2007-2008, and during that tenure, served as the Governance Chair.

The role of the board is to establish, implement and enforce the entire organization’s policies, goals and objectives. The collective body works with Steven R. Hughes, the executive director of the OAUG, to formulate strategies that provide effective guidance to those serving the organization.
