Afriqiyah Airways is expanding very fast to new destinations and has inaugurated its first non-stop flight to Dhaka, Bangladesh from Tripoli last Tuesday 27 October.The new service is expected to provide an important comfortable flight that spares passengers the hustle of going through transit flights from this east Asian destination.
The new destination comes as the fast growing Libyan airlines is obtaining more new airplanes. Within the last two months, Afriqiyah took the delivery of thee new Airbus A330
which enabled it to add new destinations in Africa and other parts of the world.

On Tuesday, the first Afriqiyah A330-200 air jet arrived Dhaka airport carrying on board a number of Afriqiyah officials who participated in the opening ceremony of the new flights.
The new airplane will be deployed to operate non-stop flights to Europe including Paris, Brussels, London, Rome, Dusseldorf and Amsterdam, as well as to 17 destinations in North-, West- and Central Africa and the Middle East.
The aircraft is configured to seat 124 passengers in a very comfortable two-class configuration and is powered by CFM56-5B engines.
