Merri-Makers caterers was selected to serve the Society of Cosmetic Chemists during their largest international convention in New Jersey. The convention attracts some 3,300 chemists from all over the country and New Jersey's most famed caterers were called in to plan and serve lunch to the large group.

The biggest hurdle to scale was planning the logistics of a gourmet lunch

which would feed over 3,000 guests in a timely and organized manner. The convention organizers asked for a delicious but quick lunch to help the convention adhere to pre-set time schedules.

The planning party of Merri-Makers organized a buffet- style lunch which broke the group up into 250 guests per buffet station. Plenty of Merri-Makers staff members were on hand during the event with large signs designating available seating throughout the enormous room as well as directing the movement of the large groups in the proper direction of their buffet quad.
