(CHICAGO)(July 29, 2010) Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference TODAY, July 29th at 4:15 P. M. to announce he whistle-stopping on his “North Shore Express against Republican Party sexual harassment and corruption

Martin is also challenging Mark Kirk and Alexi Giannoulias to begin debating with a first debate after the Lake Forest Day Parade next Wednesday.

Martin will throw down the symbolic “gauntlet or glove, in front of the Ogilvie Transportation center today at 4:15 P.M.

“Republicans never learn. They think they can pretend the truth will not come out, that a cover-up by Republican State Chairman Pat Brady and Cook County Chairman Lee Roupas will be sufficient to deflect the matter Martin will state. “Dumping Jeremy Rose was the first step, not the last step, in what must be a comprehensive house cleaning. I am asking North Shore Republicans to join the battle against Illinois Republican Party sexual harassment and corruption. We’ll be whistle-stopping right along the UP North line this afternoon.

“Mark Kirk has already admitted he is afraid to debate me. I hope Alexi Giannoulias is more of a man, and wants to face a genuine challenge as we debate across the state. Let’s start next Wednesday after the Lake Forest Day Parade. West Park would be an ideal place for a U. S. Senate campaign debate
