- NewBridge Bank, the new bank resulting from the merger of LSB The Bank and FNB Southeast, announced today that it has signed a 10-year commitment to be the naming rights partner for the Greensboro Grasshoppers minor-league baseball park.

The announcement by NewBridge officials Robert Lowe and Pressley Ridgill followed the unveiling of NewBridge Bank's new logo at the

Greensboro corporate headquarters. Mr. Lowe is the chairman and chief executive officer of NewBridge Bancorp and Chairman of NewBridge Bank. Mr. Ridgill is the President of NewBridge Bancorp and President and Chief Executive Officer of NewBridge Bank.

Also at the ceremony was Donald Moore, the President and General Manager of the Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball team. The baseball park will be named "NewBridge Bank Park."

"We are thrilled about this opportunity to partner with Donald and the Grasshoppers, and we anticipate a long and vibrant relationship," Mr. Ridgill said. "It's a great way to establish our presence in Guilford County. But, most important, it's a sign to residents of Greensboro and Guilford County that we are committed to the community."

On behalf of Greensboro Baseball, LLC, Mr. Moore thanked NewBridge Bank for its partnership and enthusiasm.

"We are looking forward to our partnership with NewBridge Bank" said Moore.

NewBridge Bank Park is a state-of-the-art ballpark with seating capacity of approximately 7,500 and features a 30 foot wide open-air concourse.

"The park sponsorship is one of many activities and events that NewBridge Bank will support as a new bank that officially opens November 13," Mr. Ridgill said.

"NewBridge Bank will continue to support many events that the predecessor banks sponsored but we will also sponsor some new activities that are part of the fabric of the Triad and other cities where we do business," he said. Next weekend, for instance, NewBridge Bank will sponsor the Piedmont Craftsman Fair in Winston-Salem, the premier arts event in the Triad.
