New York City welcomes great companies to its new World to NYC (W2NYC) program: Focus on new manufacturing for May 2014

• Program focuses on knowledge and collaboration between cutting-edge companies already present in the city and those considering New York City for their US / East-coast expansion.
• Knowledge and exchange will inform how to make New York City the home of the next industrial revolution.

New York City, March 6, 2014 – New York International, together with leading partners, will host 15 US and international new manufacturing companies from May 12 – 14 to showcase the unique strength of New York City in the emerging sector of urban manufacturing. Building on the successful World to NYC program, the new program will not only provide knowledge and insight opportunities for the companies coming to New York City, but will focus on collaboration with established and new ventures in the city. In addition, the collaboration in the emerging sector will lead recommendations for the city on how to leverage the opportunities for the emerging sector driven by the combination of software and hardware.
