2008-06-24 16:39:07 - Three of the most stunning new homes to be created in Warwickshire are about to open their doors for the first time.

Arden Glade, near the village of Claverdon, between Henley and Warwick, features three cutting-edge properties which have been designed with luxury and the latest domestic technology very much in mind.

They are the first properties developed by Landmarque Custom Homes.

Arden Glade may nestle in the Warwickshire countryside but they certainly do not fit the caricature of the traditional rural property.

The

two-storey, five-bedroom homes have each been designed in an arc shape to make the most not only of the stunning location but also open-plan living.

A great deal of time, thought and expense has gone into creating each home, all the way from the front doors through to the solar panels on the roofs.

The ground floor of each property is predominantly open-plan and looks out on to the landscaped gardens through full height glazing which has been treated to minimise solar gain.

All three properties - which can come fully furnished - have been wired throughout to allow for the latest Bang and Olufsen entertainment equipment. The show home family room has an audio visual and games system to turn anyone into a gadget hound.

A similar level of specification has been applied to the kitchen and dining area. The kitchens are by Italian designer and manufacturer Pedini, while appliances - including a gas hob, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, warming drawer, dishwasher and a temperature-controlled wine cabinet - come from Miele, Wolf and Gaggenau.

The ground floor also features a more formal lounge which, while still overlooking the grounds, offers more privacy, peace and quiet from the rest of the family.

The arc shaped design also makes for an equally stunning first floor. The master suite enjoys breath-taking views over the grounds and open countryside beyond.

It has built-in wardrobes and a sumptuous en-suite with Kohler sanitary ware and a Mira digital system which controls the shower and bath and allows a remote pre-setting of the water temperature.

There are four further bedrooms - two of which have en-suite facilities - and a large family bathroom.

However, perhaps the most stunning element of the first floor is the spacious balcony which could accommodate a sizeable table for a dining experience with a difference.

Ease of living has also been a key in the design of the grounds. Each property is set in around an acre of land and features a formal garden and reflection pool close to the house, and then an area of low maintenance meadowland through which run secluded pathways. A rainwater harvesting system has been installed for watering the gardens and washing the cars.

Steve Dodd, managing director of Landmarque Custom Homes, said: 'This development has been great to work on because we feel we have created something very special.

'We have deliberately kept everything low-key and got it very close to completion before we have started any marketing. We want people to see just how special it is and to realise they can move in straight away bringing, if they so choose, nothing but the designer wardrobe.

'It is just the sort of project any creative developer would love to work on. We have applied the very highest standards in craftsmanship and materials to create what is genuinely a unique development.'

Prices start from £1.8 million.
