Unique app aims to keep you taking the tablets and ensure you never run out of medication
Healthnet UK, a leading technology provider for the UK pharmaceutical industry, has introduced a pioneering FREE smart phone app that will make life easier for anyone who needs to take prescription medication regularly.
Users will get an audible and visual alert reminding them to take their medication. When users tick the alert box, this information will be recorded in their medication history and can subsequently be shared with a GP or pharmacist.
The unique app allows patients to re-order medication directly from their pharmacist of choice or request a new prescription from their doctor within the app. Patients are automatically alerted when

their order is being processed and completed - allowing it to be picked up direct from the surgery or pharmacy.
Pharmacies who register at www.pillmanager.co.uk are also able to broadcast their services to patients.
The patient will be able to record side effects with batch data and expiry dates, thereby allowing health authorities to initiate a recall if needed.
Recording and keeping Blood Pressure history is an added feature in the free app which is available on iTunes and Google Play
