announces the opening of a new machining Facility in Alabama
specializing in medium to high production of precision machined
castings, forgings and extrusions.
In an economic period where so many businesses are being forced to
downsize, New Hampshire based Latva Machine recently announced their
Southern expansion through the opening of a Latva South Inc. in
Alexander
City Alabama.
Latva South's close working relationship with sand casting, permanent
mold, investment casting and forging suppliers offers their clients a
more complete solution to their component needs. Additionally, it also
allowed Latva Machine to offer expanded materials such as A319, A356-T6,
and A356-T7 Aluminum as well Gray & Ductile Iron in both cored and non
cored castings.
Regarding the recent expansion, Mitch Latva, CEO of Latva Machine, was
eager for the chance to provide a higher level of quality on higher
production components for customers across the country; "we will be able
to provide customers with the same high level precision machining and
close tolerance's we've been supplying to our aerospace customers the
past 30 years. By partnering with these material suppliers, we can
increase our quality assurance capabilities, lower our lead time and
take care of all the legwork making the procurement process painless for

This expansion adds to Latva Machine Inc's ability to provide machine
precision components in carbon steel, 300 & 400 stainless steel, 17-4PH,
15-5PH, Inconel, Monel, Plastics, aluminum, and iron for the automotive,
firearms and recreational vehicles industry.
