2014-01-29 12:09:32 - Detroit Radio Presenter and Writer Parker J. Cole, has released a new book entitled Many Strange Women.
The book, which has already received rave reviews, has been compared to the bestselling erotic romance book Fifty Shades of Grey, with the tag line “Greene is the new Grey”.
Many Strange Women is book one in the Sins of the Flesh series. Parker says, “I was so ecstatic when my agent informed me of a book deal, it is every writers dream.”
So why the comparison to Fifty Shades of Grey? Surely it doesn’t involve a lot of nudity and sex.
“Most certainly not,” Parker laughs, “Though there are some romance scenes, I can see why people have compared it to Fifty Shades of Grey, because Solomon and his past are similar to that of Christian Grey. However the book takes
two very flawed characters and brings them together, a man with a dark past and a woman with a secret who gravitate towards each other to protect themselves.”
She continues, “The book was written without Fifty Shades of Grey in mind. I started it six months prior before I even heard of this erotic bestseller. It was much later before I saw the unexpected connection between Solomon and Christian. It was a fluke.”
