Intrabond Capital (Prof. Rodria Laline) and The Decision Institute (Prof. dr. Fred van Eenennaam) have joined forces with leading Harvard Business School professors Jay Lorsch and Krishna Palepu to once again organize a 4-day ‘Maximize Your Board’s Potential’ seminar on new board governance and leadership.

Addressing key challenges and tools in new board governance

As the European Commission further develops its policy toward director's roles and responsibilities, the goal to provide a better understanding of board dynamics becomes more significant. The ‘Maximize Your Board’s Potential’ program at the Harvard Faculty Club on October 6-9, 2014 takes a deep dive into the many facets and factors controlling the drivers of directors' behavior over a company's lifecycle of organizational and cultural change.

A diverse and

targeted program in an international environment

Whatever approach is taken, boards will require prospective, new and seasoned directors who are able to stay ahead of the curve on key governance issues and leading practices. At its core, this new board governance program will enable participants to gain a deeper understanding of the governance challenges ahead. The programs’ focus is on corporate governance, board dynamics, and strategy and risk management, with updates and the latest developments in this field of study. All of the above topics will be brought together in group discussions with contributions from professionals with diverse nationalities and professional backgrounds. These include representatives from Shell, APG, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini and more.

A private invitation to board prospects

The Academic Directors are excited to extend a private invitation to board prospects to participate in this unique and powerful program. It is a great way to.

- Endorse personal commitment to personal board proficiency and advanced professionalism
- Increase understanding of the key issues leading up to a crisis, and what board processes are used to deal with complex tangible and intangible matters
- Add value and to broaden insight into board decision-making to produce highly effective boards.

Real-world situations for insight into real-world problems

This short, focused program is designed to help you maximize your own potential – and the potential of the boards on which you sit. The program provides practical case studies as well as academic learning points that can be applied to each participant’s daily profession. At the end of the program, participants will be able to lead in complex issues in governance and establish a clear road map.
