Kuta, Bali, Indonesia — November 11, 2012 — Mitrais, a Bali-headquartered provider of software development for the Australian IT industry, has appointed David Watkins as Australia-based sales director.

Mr. Watkins brings more than 30 years of experience as an IT professional across a range of industries such as mining, oil & gas, utility, automotive, heavy process, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, finance, government and telecoms.

“My role right now is to promote Mitrais’ software development services to progressive Australian companies seeking to maximize their market position and deliver the highest value to their clients,” Mr. Watkins explained about his responsibilities as the new Australia-based sales director.

Prior to Mitrais, Mr. Watkins was a Sales Executive with SAS Australia where he was responsible for marketing analytic solutions

to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors. Prior to SAS, Mr. Watkins was with Oniqua Enterprise Analytics for 10 years promoting analytic solutions and master data content services to the international asset intensive sector.

Mr. Watkins has a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Aston University in UK and is a member of the Asset Management Council.
