NEW YORK, NY --- As I sit here and write this piece for the New York Knicks fans to read many thoughts cross my mind. It's not often that the Knicks, especially after the whole Isiah Thomas debacle, are in this great of a position to improve their team with a player(s) of high significance that will give the team

an Icon since the days of Patrick Ewing.

But putting all your eggs in one basket while letting a solid basketball player like David Lee most likely go I do not agree with.

General Manager Donnie Walsh has done a terrific job of turning the mistakes that Thomas made into a great opportunity to go after some key free agents, but don't let the job that is ahead of Walsh fool you. He still has a lot more to do.
