Eight High School quarterbacks get to take "The Ride" of their lifetime in this reality show based on Football. NEW YORK, NY --- This week, eight high school quarterbacks are taking off on “The Ride” of a lifetime, as they will compete against one another for a chance at participating in the country’s top showcase for high school football players—the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January.
“The Ride,” which will air on Comcast Sports Net and Fox Sports Net affiliates
across the United States starting this week (some as early as today), will chronicle the competition held between the eight prep signal-callers. Each player, for his own individual reason, has continued to fly under the radar of upper-echelon Division I programs, and will look to prove his mettle in front of a national audience.
“The show really is a unique concept in terms of taking an under the radar quarterback and giving him the chance to get elite, NFL caliber training through Football University,” said Kristian Dyer, Director of Media Relations at SportsLink, a sports marketing firm who partnered with Aurora Imaging to create the show. “What ‘The Ride’ does is a bold concept in prep football. It is one of a kind television.”
