Mushroom Networks, Inc., the innovator of affordable broadband bonding technology, today announced a partnership and master reseller agreement with HotSpot International, the leader in turnkey high-speed Internet connectivity solutions in Mexico, to deliver broadband bonding to Mexico's hotel and resort industry. The technology will allow hotels to bond multiple ADSL lines into a single shared connection for voice, video, and

data services at a cost savings up to 70% compared with traditional dedicated line broadband connectivity options.

"What we are doing is truly unprecedented in terms of offering faster Internet at much lower costs to the Mexican market," said Louie Miller, CEO of Miller International, parent company of HotSpot International. "We, as most business travelers, are dependent on the Internet and when on a trip expect equal to or better performance than at our office or home. By bonding inexpensive ADSL lines together, our hotels can satisfy their guests' needs for speed while increasing capacity at a lower cost than dedicated T1/E1 connections."

Mushroom Networks' broadband bonding technology combines up to six broadband Internet connections of any type including DSL, cable, T1/E1 into a single high-speed link. The technology and various supporting product lines are Ethernet-based and easily installs between the broadband modems and the local network at the user site without requiring any configuration changes to the existing network or coordination with the ISPs. This feature gives customers the ability to mix and match various broadband services from multiple providers delivering built-in network redundancy. If one or more of the bonded links fails or is degraded, the traffic transparently spreads across the remaining links in real-time without any interruptions resulting in maximal network uptime.

In addition to Broadband Bonding technology, HotSpot International will take advantage of Mushroom Networks' Broadband Bonding Service that will allow the company to provide hotel & resort customers a fast uplink connection for business critical applications such as reliable IP voice and video communications.

"We are pleased to be working with HotSpot International, a company known for its forward thinking when it comes to broadband service offerings," stated Cahit Akin, co-founder and CEO of Mushroom Networks. "As multimedia Internet traffic continues to grow at exponential rates world-wide, hospitality and other major consumer driven industries must keep pace with consumer demand for reliable, high-performance Internet services. Simply stated, our ability to combine readily available ADSL lines into a single 'fat pipe' puts HotSpot International into a position to help revolutionize Mexico's broadband marketplace."

Partnership and Reseller Agreement

HotSpot International will resell Mushroom Networks entire line of Broadband Bonding solutions including: Truffle targeting the large enterprise, Porcini for small to medium businesses, and PortaBella - an all new wireless solution that bonds multiple cellular data cards into a single shared connection. All products support a built-in VoIP quality manager to improve voice quality by minimizing latency for both inbound and outbound voice traffic. Mushroom's products also incorporate an internal router and stateful firewall capability that can be enabled by the user as needed along with support for standard Internet services such as port-forwarding, port binding, WAN interface binding, static IP, dynamic IP, PPPoE, DHCP, DMZ, UPnP, and Dynamic DNS.
