Meerut is the 63rd-fastest-growing urban area in the world and the 14th fastest developing city in India. A recent report gave Meerut the 5th spot on the "vibrancy" index, ahead of Delhi and Mumbai.
Meerut ranked second on both the financial penetration index, which measures things like the presence of ATMs and bank branches, and on the consumption index, indicating the city’s transformation into an urban town. The infrastructure segment of Meerut is currently going through a boom phase with many new projects coming up in and around the city.
At Mount Litera Zee School, the learning experience extends beyond the classroom; into the outdoor and common areas as well, by transforming them into learning spaces. In the school, the child spends the majority of his time in the classroom and hence the experience within the classroom is most distinct. The classroom has been completely designed around the child and her developmental requirements. The demo classroom will showcase a typical classroom in Mount Litera Zee School. The parents will get an opportunity to sit through a classroom session and experience how a classroom can contribute towards creating future leaders of the country. The bus will be traveling across 39 cities in India to create awareness about different styles of learning.
Elaborating on the concept of ‘Torch of Learning’ Mr. Navneet Anhal, Chief Operating Officer, Zee Learn said, “Our young population is a dividend for the country and we aim to harness their talent. According to research on learning, every individual has a different style of learning, and it is this awareness that we wish to create across the country. The pan-India journey of the bus will certainly help reach the message of unique learning styles to large number of students, parents and education professionals”.
‘Torch of Learning’ is an initiative by Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS) to create awareness about inclusive education and the need to ensure that all students gain access to knowledge, creative skills and information through their unique learning styles.
