Morgan Joseph Names Bruce D. Jackson a Senior Vice President in Equity Research Covering the Medical Device Industry

Morgan Joseph & Co. Inc., a full service investment bank, has appointed Bruce D. Jackson, an 11-year veteran securities analyst, a Senior Vice President in the Company’s Equity Research Department where he will cover medical device companies, it was announced today by David Kestenbaum, head of Equity Research.

“We are very pleased to add Bruce, who has a long and impressive

record of accomplishment in the healthcare field, in addition to practical experience as a researcher in the industry, to our equity research team,” said Mr. Kestenbaum. “Healthcare is obviously today a field of increasing interest and that is particularly so of the medical device field, where Bruce’s extensive resume and knowledge of companies in this sector as well as the industry itself, will prove a valuable addition for us and our clients.”


Mr. Jackson most recently was a Vice President, Senior Analyst at the Minneapolis, MN, office of Royal Bank of Canada, where he was responsible for equity research coverage of diagnostics, orthopedics/neurosurgery and urology companies, and where he rated 5 stars out of 5 for excess return on stock picks by StarMine. His previous associations include Vice President, Senior Analyst positions at Miller Johnson Steichen Kinnard and Wachovia Securities, where he started as an Associate Analyst in Healthcare Services. He also has been associated with Prudential Securities/Vector Securities specializing in medical technology. Mr. Jackson for six years served with Abbott Laboratories, as a Project Manager in the Hospital Products Division marketing research department, and as a market planner in the Abbott Diagnostics Division.

Mr. Jackson, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Journalism, and holds an MBA-General Management from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
