2008-06-11 19:21:30 - MONTREAL, Canada (RUSHPRNEWS) 06/11/08 - The Hustle Hard Fam, Montreal's most accomplished rap trio, invites all members of the press to experience the release of their debut single 'Got That' and to help raise money for the Montreal's Children Hospital. The single was produced and composed by Beat Merchant, Canada's Number One Hip Hop producer. Merchant has worked with the likes of all-star crime drama 'Belly'; Juno Award-winning Canadian R&B and pop singer Keisha Chante; Mario Winans' awe inspiring blend of Gospel and R&B and now Hustle Hard Fam. The ticket cost is $10. All money raised will go towards Montreal Children's Hospital's (MCH) on-goint great work in the community.

The Montreal Children's Hospital of the MUHC has a proven record of excellence in patient care, teaching, research and technology assessment. As part of its mandate, MCH advocates for the health care needs of the children of Quebec and Canada on issues such as injury prevention, obesity, hearing screening and other emerging pediatric health concerns. Got That by Hustle Hard Fam

The world premiere of their smash single 'Got That' will take place Friday, June 13th, at 9 p.m. at O Patro Vys located at 356 Mont-Royal Est. In addition to their single 'Got That', Hustle Hard will perform six new songs from their soon-to-be released first album of the same name.

Special host, stand-up comic Rodney Ramsey will MC the evening with his blend of hard-ass social and political commentary humour. Ramsey who has been described as ‘ultra-magnetic', is a recurrent hit at the Just For Laugh festival. Unable to attend the event, but as always supportive of his prodigies, Beat Merchant will deliver a own special message via a video appearance.

Currently backed by Beat Merchant, Canada's biggest hip hop producer, The Hustle Hard Fam's debut album is set for release on their own independent record label, Hustle Hard Inc. in the Fall 2008. Featuring collaborations with well-known and respected artists such as Dru, Bishop, Jenna G and Beat Merchant, this Hip Hop album depicting their mature perspective on life is set to leave a definite impact on the ear drums of each and every listener their music touches.

With each member of the group bringing a different flavour to the mix, the result is in a hip-hop sound defined by distinct world experiences. These three rappers have gone through individual struggles, come from different ethnic backgrounds and upbringings and add a different musical texture to the whole. Combined together The Hustle Hard Fam is a solid unit. As stated by Beat Merchant, who produced and composed six of the songs on their upcoming album, 'Got That', Hustle Hard Fam, 'really stands out from others in the music scene. These guys all come from different musical background and life experience. And at the end of the day, what they create is magic, lyrically and musically.' Created in 2007, The Hustle Hard Fam sets the bar high for local talent. The Montreal trio comprised of Bobby Hustle, Fame and Creeps is the first group of the year 2008 to win K103's Street Sounds 'Battle of the Tracks' for ten nights in a row. The group beat songs by other up-and-coming local artists but also managed to defeat world-renown artists 50 Cent and Lil' Wayne on its airwaves and has now earned a spot on regular rotation. In addition, they have been featured on the airwaves of Montreal's CKUT 90.3FM.
