Molina Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE: MOH) announced today that Maritza Borrajero, RN has been named the chief operating officer of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Molina Healthcare of Florida. Borrajero will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the company, including providing leadership and vision necessary to ensure effective organizational growth and financial strength. As chief operating officer, she will also oversee activities related to customer service, provider contracts and services, claims processing and appeals processing.

Borrajero, a Registered Nurse, has more than 20 years of experience within the managed care industry and has held key leadership positions.

Previously, she was vice president of operations, claims and provider operations for Neighborhood Health Partnership, Inc. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Barry

University in Miami and is currently working on her Master of Business Administration in Finance from Nova Southeastern University in Miami.
