With January 13th being National AMBER Alert day, two organizations have teamed up to offer parents and grandparents the opportunity to give the greatest gift of all, peace of mind. AmberAlertRegistry.org and Eyedentitylabel.com have announced they are joining forces to help prevent missing children and offering parents two innovative ways to protect their loved ones.
Conscientious parents now
have two proactive tools to allow for peace of mind for both the child and the parent or caregiver. This new partnership will provide parents a safe way of registering their child on a secure website, with up to date information for immediate access by law enforcement, as well as temporary tattoos designed to share emergency information. These "fun" tattoos are a bright red and yellow, two-inch square made to stand out. These custom made Labels contain critical information such as contact information or any medical condition a child may have.
As Los Angeles resident and mother, Carrie Becks states, "That my child would be abducted is rare, but I want the security that the Amber Alert Registry and Eyedentity Label provide. I feel empowered knowing I've done everything in my control to keep my kids safe - and giving THEM tools to return to me. How would I feel if something happened and I hadn't taken these steps" I love that it takes the edge off my fears and helps me from feeling like a neurotic mom when I, or anyone else, is watching them!"
"This partnership encompasses the short term and long term solution to help minimize the time required for action, should a child go missing. We are extremely excited about working together to offer parents the tools needed to keep their loved ones safe, and if missing, for the shortest duration possible," said Stuart Maesel, Founder and CEO of AmberAlertRegistry.org. "It's a proactive step in a world where parents already have too much on their plate. We are empowering positive, knowledgeable parents to take these simple steps, to ensure their children are protected in every possible way."
"These two products coming together are going to have an immediate impact on the way law enforcement is able to do their job. Having children utilize the temporary tattoos will enable kids to play a role in their own safe return and by incorporating the Registry, we will provide up to date photos and immediate critical information needed by law enforcement," said Zephora Haddon, Founder and CEO of Eyedentitylabel.com.
National AMBER Alert Day has been established in memory of Amber Hagerman, a nine-year-old girl who was abducted and murdered in Arlington, Texas on January 13, 1996. When activated, the AMBER Alert system sends an urgent bulletin in an attempt to rouse the entire community to assist in the search for the missing child. According to the Massachusetts State Police, "The AMBER Alert program has proven to represent the best hope for the safe recovery of abducted children and to date is responsible for or has assisted in the recovery of over 400 children nationwide.?
