Over 20,000 businesses are active in Košice, making it a favorable business environement. The region offers the opportunity for customers to combine business with recreation: the city was named the European Capital of Culture in 2013, and is close to six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Tatra mountains, several national parks, and the well-known Tokaj wine region.
