- The Milwaukee Brewers and Newsradio 620 WTMJ today announced the completion of a radio rights agreement that continues the longstanding partnership between the two organizations, according to Brewers Executive Vice President - Business Operations Rick Schlesinger and Jon Schweitzer, Senior Vice-President and General Manager, WTMJ/WKTI. WTMJ is owned and operated by Journal Broadcast Group.

"WTMJ's commitment to covering the Brewers is second to none and we are proud to continue this relationship as one of the great sports traditions in the region."
WTMJ-AM has served as the radio flagship of the Brewers for all but two seasons since the team moved to Milwaukee. The prior agreement carried through the 2008 season. No other terms of the new contract were disclosed.

WTMJ's history as flagship radio station for the Brewers dates to 1970 when the team relocated from Seattle. This season, Bob Uecker is entering his 38th year as voice of the Brewers. He is joined by Jim Powell, currently in his 13th season as a member of the broadcast team.
