British pop star GEORGE MICHAEL alienated his female fanbase when he released his sexy single FREEEEK! four years ago (02).
The former WHAM! star released the song as an experiment and didn't realise the sexually-aggressive tone of the song and accompanying video would fail to resonate with females.
He says, "I spent 25 years making music on an emotional level. The one time I did something other than that was with Freeeek!.
"Because I was trying to saying something aggressive about the modern world, it freaked out my female audience.
"It made me understand how people expect certain things from me."
