Santa Fe, Dec. 17, 2008 -- In front of 61,612 fans UNC freshman, Michael Jordan caught a pass about 17 feet from the basket, midway between the foul line and the sideline. He shot the ball toward the hoop and sunk a last-second jump shot.
A few seconds later after a Georgetown turnover, the UNC Tar Heels captured the 1982 NCAA
championship 63-62.
Michael Jordan's 1983 North Carolina Tar Heels, game-used, road jersey; number 23; went on the block on Sept. 6 at Grey Flannel Auctions. The auction was held at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. The jersey sold for $114,000.
Jordan's road jersey; game-used; Chicago Bulls; across front Bulls team-name displayed; on back Jordan and player number 45; red, white and black; 1994-1995; sold for $10,200.
