www.mega.com - Editors contact: MEGA Sue Myers, 781-784-7684 smyers@meganorthamerica.com MEGA, the recognized source for business process analysis (BPA), enterprise architecture (EA), and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions, has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the leaders quadrant in the 'Magic Quadrant for Business Process Analysis Tools'(1) report.

The report evaluates 15 BPA vendors worldwide and covered five other vendors in an honorable mention category. There were two major evaluation criteria: ability to execute and completeness of vision.

"Expanding the demand for BPA tools should result in at least a 10% compound annual growth rate in market revenue through 2010. We expect that the number of BPA users will grow at significantly faster rates than BPA market revenue.

This will create greater opportunities for selling increased BPA consulting services and open up more cross-product marketing to vendors with multiple tool offerings as part of their BPMSs,"said the report.

BPA provides visibility into the full breadth of company operations and resources, helping executives understand how to adapt to shifting market conditions and create more value through higher performance, more efficiency, and greater profitability.

The MEGA Modeling Suite has been the foundation for improved business performance at large enterprises worldwide for more than 17 years. The software uses mapping, modeling, and visual impact simulation and analysis to help organizations understand and analyze their business processes, anticipate trends, and manage changes in their markets. Complementing this advanced software is a team of expert consultants who help customers identify and optimize their business processes.

"We believe that MEGA's positioning in the BPA leaders quadrant confirms our ongoing success in helping customers improve business performance," said Lucio de Risi, president and CEO, MEGA. "MEGA has helped more than 2,000 enterprises understand, align, and control enterprise information so they can emerge as industry leaders. We will continue to extend our development efforts to support our customers."

MEGA recently extended its BPA modeling capabilities with MEGA IT Planning and MEGA System Blueprint. MEGA IT Planning is a road mapping tool that helps enterprises plan, model, and visualize technology resources to make well-informed decisions about IT asset acquisition, management, and retirement. MEGA System Blueprint is the first software tool that links application design directly with business requirements for the development of modern IT systems, especially highly complex applications, very large IT projects, and SOA solutions. In addition, recently-announced planned product integration with Appian will allow users of the MEGA Modeling Suite to analyze Appian Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) data for process optimization.
