The MedicAlert Foundation is a registered charity providing medical I.D. bracelets, necklaces and watches to people with hidden medical conditions and allergies. Our jewellery helps to make sure they receive fast, relevant treatment in an emergency... because every moment matters.

MedicAlert provides 24/7 protection by issuing each member with a custom engraved disc, handcrafted by our professional jewellers. The wording is approved by our medically qualified staff, who are able to prioritise conditions or allergies so that the most critical information is included on an emblem and additional information is contained on medical records. This record is held on our secure database and can be accessed in an emergency by calling the emergency number engraved on the emblem. The emergency line

takes first responders directly to the London Ambulance Service who operate the phone lines 24/7, they can provide a translation service in over 100 languages, no matter where in the world, information is readily available in an emergency.

MedicAlert member, Michelle explains how her MedicAlert I.D. bracelet helped her get faster treatment recently :

"I had an epileptic seizure completely out of the blue after twelve years of being seizure free, although I wasn't able to tell anybody this as I was unconscious. Thanks solely to my pretty little bracelet I was diagnosed, both by the paramedics and A&E doctor, and after being checked over once I had regained consciousness, I was allowed home to sleep the seizure off in my own time. All from the little bracelet on my wrist - amazing!"

In a recent survey of medical professionals over 80% of those surveyed believe that MedicAlert medical identification jewellery helps increase the speed of diagnosis and 75% believe it assists them in their work by providing better quality care for patients.
