MediaOne Services, the largest production and independent broadcast services company in the Bay Area, announced today that it is combining services with Magnetic Image Video, the premiere equipment rental and remote production service provider. Through this deal, MediaOne becomes the most comprehensive production services company of its kind in the Bay Area.

MediaOne and Magnetic Image Video will combine their production

capabilities to deliver a more comprehensive and advanced service for customers that features many of the Bay Area’s most prestigious companies, including the San Francisco Giants, Wells Fargo, MSNBC, Chevron, ABC, Hewlett-Packard, Comcast Sports and NASA.

Under the terms of the transaction announced today, MediaOne Services will take control of the operation and management of Magnetic Image Video. Customers of both companies now have expanded access to a wide ranging media services offer that includes broadcast and webcast studios; extensive broadcast rental equipment; fully loaded remote production trucks; HD multi-camera fly-packs; crews; post production suites; and fiber, satellite and Internet video transmission.
