Breathe Deep DC is the brainchild of Jerry Sorkin, a Bethesda father of two, who was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer in 2007. In taking his private battle public, Jerry wanted to energize his friends and colleagues and the larger Washington, D.C. community to fight this brutal disease, from which 150,000 people die annually. Jerry and others whose lives have been impacted by lung cancer will be leading the walk on Sunday, November 15.
