[Dubai, September 24, 2012] – The fifth edition of the biennial ME Pool & Spa exhibition has commenced today (September 24, 2012) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the presence of H.E. Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality. The exhibition has attracted the participation of nearly 80 exhibitors from 16 countries along with over 250 industry professionals from all over the world, including architects, consultants, engineers, traders, dealers, distributors and contractors are taking part in the three-day event being organised by Reed Exhibitions in collaboration with the Society of Engineers in UAE.
ME Pool & Spa 2012 sees the introduction of the region’s first Green Pools Conference to highlight the event’s theme on building
green pools and sustainable pool maintenance. The conference will discuss sustainable pools and spa facilities that use advanced, environment-friendly techniques and solutions in water treatment, maintenance and cleaning, in addition to highlighting innovative technologies in this sector.
Another key element of the event is the UAE Pool Industry Best Practices Awards, a unique networking platform that aims to reward, inspire and stimulate industry innovators, and to showcase the most outstanding pool and spa creations the region has to offer.
