LATEST: Fallen country music star MINDY McCREADY was hospitalised last week (begs14Jul08) after reportedly suffering a miscarriage.
The singer was admitted to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on 16 July (08) with some reports suggesting she had swallowed a lethal combination of vodka and prescription drug Ambien, used to treat insomnia.
McCready has since entered rehab - and U.S. website Access Hollywood is alleging that she will be treated for emotional distress after losing a baby.
The troubled star was reportedly pregnant by an unnamed man who she has been involved with for three months.
A source tells the website she will stay at the clinic to undergo therapy for "alcohol, substance abuse and emotional issues with the emotional issues being at the top of the list".
The singer has endured a series of personal struggles in recent years.
In April (08), she admitted to conducting a long-term affair with New York Yankees baseball star Roger Clemens.
And just last month (Jun08), she was released from jail for violating the terms of her probation, stemming from a July 2007 arrest for battery and resisting arrest after an alleged struggle with her mother.
