US musician DAVE MATTHEWS will star opposite Oscar-winning actress SISSY SPACEK in the family drama LAKE CITY.
Spacek and JANE FONDA's son, actor TROY GARITY, will play a mother and son who have been estranged after a tragedy.
Matthews, who will be credited in the film as DAVID MATTHEWS, will play the villain.
Matthews has also acted in two previous feature films - WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS in 2003 and BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE in 2005.
