2014-02-10 07:36:16 - The world of mobile applications is rampant with the aspect of constant change. Classteacher Learning Systems keeps the aspect alive through releasing further versions of its existing applications. A recent example would be the application called Math Addition Game for Kids.

This application earlier had a game aimed at testing the visual and deductive skills of the child. The newer version has an improved user-interface, the existing game, and a new one that requires a child to practice mental math, but in a rather innovative manner.

A monkey dangles from a branch atop a field of numbered balloons. In the sky, looms three clouds related through two math operators: ” and The first and the third clouds have numbers on them while the second one is empty.

The three numbers together complete a simple addition sequence, for example: 1 + 4 = 5. The child has to fill the second cloud with the correct number for completing the addition sequence. He

can do so by dragging the monkey over the correct numbered balloon. A shout of laughter follows as the monkey “busts” the balloon by jumping on it and lets the number fly away towards the empty cloud.

2014 will be a year that will witness lots of revolutionary insights in the world of mobile apps for children. The incorporation of apps into different mediums of learning is one such example – From the bench in the classroom to the lap of a toddler – An educational mobile application is becoming an important aspect of a child’s world. Classteacher Learning Systems recognizes this outlook through its constant improvisation of existing applications. So, keep a watchful eye for version releases of many other applications.
