Today, MasterCard is announcing the first class of 7 leading European startups that are developing innovative commerce solutions as part of the inaugural MasterCard Start Path accelerator class.

The startups were selected after an extensive selection process that saw applications received from startups in more than 30 countries. Each of the startups will work with MasterCard for a twelve-month period, with the first 4 months based onsite in Dublin, and the next 8 months in a virtual capacity to solve critical business challenges and benefit from direct access to key strategic partners.

The inaugural Start Path class includes:

  • InstabankConsumer digital banking solution available on IoS and Android, designed with the simplicity of a social media platform.
  • MePinSecure authentication for consumer eCommerce and mobile payments through a simple-to-use mobile app experience.
  • MoQomMobile identity and authentication management services to banks, payment card industry and other organizations, leveraging mobile network data.
  • RidangoCloud-based transit solution providing full-service ticket sales and distribution for online, EMV-ready and modular ticketing systems.
