High-quality sound absorbing flooring presents a cost-effective alternative to thick, sound-insulating concrete slabs and floating screed. It also shortens project times because thinner concrete floors usually require shorter drying times. Armstrong has developed a new DLW linoleum flooring specifically for areas where acoustic properties must meet the highest standards. Marmorette AcousticPlus ensures a sound reduction of 17 dB. Thanks to its outstanding sound absorbing qualities, Marmorette AcousticPlus is particularly well-suited to hospitals, educational institutions, subsidized housing and public buildings. In these settings a high degree of sound absorption is often required by government authorities and developers. This finely structured, nondirectional and evenly marbled flooring is available in 12 attractive colors. Bright red, yellow, green and blue nuances help create vivid accents, while gray and beige tones are available for subtle floor designs. Virtually invisible Camouflage welding rods come in all color tones to create perfect continuous surface effects. The 4.0 mm composite flooring consists of a
2.5 mm Marmorette with a jute backing laminated onto a 1.5 mm PU foam backing. Armstrong coats Marmorette AcousticPlus with LPX Finish surface protection. This also means that no preliminary treatment is required and maintenance costs are reduced because cleaning is easier and less cleaning agent and energy are used. The LPX Finish also makes the flooring tough and durable, as well as resistant to abrasion and chemicals.
DLW Marmorette AcousticPlus fulfills all fire protection requirements of the EN 13501-1 Cfl-s1 for low flammability. It is non-slip, cigarette proof and suitable for underfloor heating.
